Jar

Bass Guitar

A quarter of a century, that is the length of time Jar has been out playing music.  But it wasn't on the Bass Guitar at first.

It wasn't until after a fellow musician begged him to learn bass for an upcoming performance did the lower tones resonated with Jar.

"A friend needed a bass player to jam with. So we worked relentlessly to get me up to speed on the bass. From then on I fell in love with the bass guitar," Jar remembers.  But it was the influences of Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, and The Beatles that helped him to formulate his sound.

When Jar isn't jamming on the stage with From The Edge, you can find him chasing a current kayaking, getting exercise cycling, or most importantly to him spending time with his family.
