Every musical journey has a beginning and Chris’ story is no different, “At the age of five, he embarked on my musical journey when my dad gifted me my first keyboard and guitar. Inspired by the rhythmic world around me, I began exploring melodies, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion for music.” It was obvious that music ran within the bloodline. Chris's grandmother from his mother's side was his first inspiration as he would watch her play piano, guitar, banjo, mandolin, and even an autoharp. She would always be singing some of her all time favorite gospel songs and hymns. It was always a treat to see her playing, and singing along with her brothers and sisters. Experiencing the gift of music at an early age is what has honed Chris into the musician he is today.  When it comes to his talent, Chris will always be the first to tell you he is still learning from every musician he meets and will always say he may be a "Jack of all trades, but no master by no means."

 

This has helped to lead to the group's popularity.  When he’s not jamming with the band Chris says the water is his happy place, “Fishing! There’s no other way to put it. I enjoy taking my boat to the lake and spending hours on the water just to relax and find peace of mind. It’s really considered as therapy for me.”
